SF Bay FFRF

We are one of 24 local chapters of the Freedom From Religion Foundation, the largest freethought association in the U.S.

The purposes of FFRF are to promote the constitutional principle of separation of church and state, and to educate the public on matters relating to nontheism.

Our chapter supports these purposes in the Bay Area and works to grow the membership of FFRF. Chapter activities include monthly luncheons and online social meetings, tabling at public events, and occasional speakers.

As a new chapter, we are growing organically, shaped by the members who join at this early stage and help chart our course. We solicit input and engagement from all existing and new FFRF members for direction, growth, and ideas, and we need active members to help make it all happen.

Membership in our Chapter is free to current paid member of national FFRF. The more members we have, the more support we get from national FFRF. Join here.

All local Chapter organizers and event planners are volunteers.
